Formpipe Receives $1.6 Million Order from UK-based Utilities Company
Sweden-based Formpipe Software announced it has received a cloud-based Lasernet order for a UK-based utilities company through its partner Ferranti. The initial order value is estimated at $1.6 million over a four-year period.
Lasernet for Microsoft Dynamics AX delivers solutions for report design, archiving and distribution.
“We are continuously strengthening our presence in Europe and the knowledge of our offerings around our output management solutions Lasernet is spreading specifically within the Microsoft Dynamics AX area. As a part of this work we are very happy to announce that we have succeed in building a strong cloud-based offering together with Ferranti, with Lasernet included as a standard module in Ferranti’s business support system for energy and utility companies,” said Christian Sundin, CEO of Formpipe, in a statement.
To-Increase Solution Streamlines User Management in Dynamics AX
To-Increase has rolled out Dynamic Security Management for Microsoft Dynamics AX to simplify the management of security roles and help companies address security and compliance challenges.
The solution is available through the To-Increase partner network to any organization that uses, upgrades, or newly deploys Microsoft Dynamics AX, according to company officials.
To-Increase Dynamic Security Management helps companies address common concerns in managing their ERP systems. Setting up security roles, managing user licenses, and keeping them current through upgrades and organizational changes are complex, lengthy tasks that often involve expensive consulting hours, officials stated.
Dynamic Security Management simplifies role and license management so companies can use simple use recording capabilities in combination with automatic matching functions.
“Because of the complexity of administrating security roles and licenses in Dynamics AX, in many companies the system roles and licenses no longer match actual requirements,” said Bjorn Kuijt, vice president of product management at To-Increase. “Dynamic Security Management makes it easy for them to keep security management aligned with their business needs.”
ENAVATE Now Offers Dynamics AX on Azure
ENAVATE has announced the migration of its Microsoft Dynamics AX distribution and e-commerce SaaS solution to Microsoft Azure.
ENAVATE said it has moved all of its own hosted customers on its cloud platform, making it the largest Dynamics AX partner delivering its solution via Azure, according to company officials.
“We evaluated our own hosting platform, other hosting providers, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft’s Azure to find the best solution for our customers,” said ENAVATE CEO Thomas Ajspur in a statement. “After many months of research, our decision was clear – Microsoft Azure. The power and capacity of the Azure platform is world-class, and represents a step-change in terms of service for our cloud customers.”
