MyCRM releases next generation of activity planning for Microsoft Dynamics
MyCRM has announced the latest release of its advanced activity planning solution, ePlanner. The solution now allows users to create unlimited planners and set security for team members, along with views for each of the individual planners.
The security in ePlanner continues to follow the Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 security model, according to company officials. The MyCRM ePlanner solution supports every Dynamics CRM/365 activity type, including custom activity types created.
MyCRM offers a range of solutions that plug-in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365. Over the next 24 months, the company plans to deliver a range of new and improved offerings to enhance the user experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365, company officials said.
Real Dynamics meets aggressive schedule for ERP carve-out to support acquisition of Kofax, Inc. to venture firm Thoma Bravo
Real Dynamics, an independent advisory and consulting firm specializing in deploying Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365, has completed the deployment of a Dynamics AX-based solution to ensure the success of the complex acquisition of Kofax Inc. by venture firm Thoma Bravo.
The previous owner’s need to carve out its software business, Kofax Inc., required that both parties vet out the customers, contracts, and product lines belonging to the software business that were comingled with the hardware business in existing legal entities. These existing legal entities would remain with the hardware business.
Kofax tapped Real Dynamics because of its M&A experience and project methodology. Real Dynamics executed on a project plan to configure new and existing legal entities for Kofax Inc., develop business rules for ERP carve-out, and migrate the data, according to officials of the companies.
“At Real Dynamics, we have expertise in helping customers with acquisitions and carve-outs from, and to, the Dynamics AX platform,” said Yogesh Kasat, principal at Real Dynamics, in a statement. “Our customers benefit from our investments in tools and processes best suited for mergers and acquisition projects, covering: project management, solution and functional architecture, data conversion and reporting tools using the Microsoft technology platform.”
HSO supports Hotter’s growth plans with Microsoft Dynamics retail implementation
Hotter, a UK shoe maker, has selected Microsoft Dynamics AX to support its growth plans.
Hotter has brought in the Microsoft partner HSO to implement Dynamics AX and provide ongoing support. HSO is now rolling out Dynamics AX to drive efficiencies in the finance and supply chain processes for the footwear retailer, according to officials of the companies.
Hotter was looking for an end-to-end omni-channel retail solution that was flexible and scalable enough to support the company’s growth and Dynamics AX fit the bill perfectly, officials said.
Implementing Dynamics AX and working with HSO will enable Hotter to manage by exception rather than having to manage every element of the standard procedure, according to officials.
“Working with HSO and introducing the Microsoft Dynamics solution is central to our plans to underpin our growth and strengthen best practice across our business,” said Hotter CEO Sara Prowse in a statement.
Solgari announces new investment in product enhancement and sales channel acceleration
Solgari, a provider of integrated omni-channel cloud communications services, has completed its latest funding round. The funding comes from Enterprise Ireland along with Focus Capital Partners and private technology investors in the US, UK and Ireland, according to company officials.
The funds are being used for product development, including Solgari Communicator, and the launch of Solgari’s integrated solution with Microsoft Dynamics 365 on Microsoft’s AppSource marketplace.
“The demand for omni-channel communications that can integrate successfully with Microsoft Dynamics 365 has become very clear as well as the need to think carefully about regulations such as MiFID II & GDPR,” stated Kenneth Christensen, CEO, at OnDemand4U, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in Germany. “We chose to partner with Solgari earlier this year to meet these customer requirements with immediate success in the German market.”
