Salesforce is the #1 CRM provider globally in the year 2017, research firm IDC said in its latest Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker.

In addition to Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Adobe are the other CRM companies in the world.

Salesforce has 19.6 percent share. Oracle has 7.1 percent share. SAP has 6.5 percent share. Microsoft has 4 percent share. Adobe has 3.2 percent share of the global ERP market, said IDC.

The chart prepared by Salesforce indicates that SAP has lost its ERP share in 2017 as compared with 2016. Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft and Adobe have increased their ERP market share.
Salesforce share in CRM market
Salesforce grew its overall market share position and increased its revenue more than any other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) vendor.

Salesforce increased its market share in 2017 by more percentage points than the rest of the top twenty CRM vendors combined.

IDC has named Salesforce the market share leader in sales applications, customer service applications and marketing applications.

Keith Block, vice chairman, president and COO, Salesforce, said: “As the IDC report shows, companies are increasingly turning to Salesforce to accelerate their digital transformations to deliver intelligent, connected customer experiences across every touchpoint.”
