Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Practice Director
Company Overview: 15 year Development and Professional Services consulting organization with market leading I.P in the Higher Education, Healthcare, Professional Services and Manufacturing industries.
Microsoft Gold Partner and TAP(Technology Adoption Program) participating member for almost 10 years. Over 300 dedicated Product Developers and Functional Consultants across the US and abroad. Clients are spread across the United States and span multiple industry segments including Higher Education, Healthcare, Professional Services, Chemical Manufacturing and Oil &Gas.
NOTES:
Looking to grow their Microsoft Dynamics practice from approximately 35-40 dedicated employees based in the United States.
Currently heavily leveraged with Dynamics 365 F&O, but actively growing their Dynamics CE practice now. Expect the CRM side of the business to equal the ERP side of the business within the next 18 months, in part due to their collaborative development efforts with Microsoft for the Healthcare industry.
They are very, very deep on the technical side and get hired by Microsoft to build products that gets incorporated into MS products.
Looking for people that are interested and excited at the prospect of growing a practice and enjoy the opportunity to wear multiple hats and not do the same task day in and day out. Individuals need a degree of flexibility and high emotional intelligence.
Location: Virtual, can be based anywhere in the United States
Travel: 50% on average
Compensation: Depending on experience, ranging from $150-180k + benefits
Reporting: Will be reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services
Unique Opportunity: This organization’s roots are in product development and they have a number of market leading add-on solutions for both Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM. They are considered the “go-to” Partner of Microsoft in the Healthcare, Higher Education, Professional Services and Manufacturing industries in part due to this I.P. They have robust internal programs in place to allow individuals to become subject matter experts on 1 or more of these industries and to work with the next generation of technologies as they continue developing new products.

Summary of Position:
The Practice Director is primarily responsible for building, growing and overseeing a team of resources.
Career succession planning, skills evaluation, and team building activities are just of some of the activities involved with building and growing a successful team.
They are also responsible for the Practice P/L, budget, headcount, etc. and meeting the revenue target goals.
They apply well-honed consulting, project management and functional skills in the management of consultant’s growth.
Further, Directors are involved in business development such as project diagnostics, proposal development and sales calls.
Practice Directors will work closely with team members in conducting multiple client projects ranging from software evaluation, consulting services, customization design, and technical support, to full implementation.
The Director consistently demonstrates a willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success by leveraging proven problem-solving techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Management
Identify and resolve issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success
Active involvement in company activities including recruiting, training, performance management, capacity planning, etc.
Responsible for overall success of the client engagement
Managing client relationships
Guide clients and prospects in their evaluation of software providing information and demonstrations to help them assess fit for their business
Scope the software and services required to help clients achieve their objectives
Define and manage implementation project plans using the corporate Methodology
Manage and develop consultants on the software and methodology
Ensure projects are forecasted appropriately
Defining “best practices” in delivery, including templates, work plans, methodologies
Enhances practice’s and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Resolve project, customer and staff issues independently and with minimal escalation to executive-level.
Lead customer meetings or facilitated strategy sessions, analyze processes and recommend improvements, particularly when a SME is required beyond the project team or on larger, complex projects
Manage utilization, quality, and profitability of the practice
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure customer satisfaction
Establishes a network of relationships within a broad range of functions and levels in a customer organization; sustains executive and c-level customer relationship
Drives or assists in generating new leads or opportunities with existing customer base
Measures customer satisfaction throughout an engagement, specifically identifying ways in which a team can increase current levels of satisfaction
Ensures the customer's concerns and issues have been appropriately addressed
