The PE Money Is Flowing Into the NetSuite Channel – And It’s Reshaping Everything!

Something significant is happening in the NetSuite ecosystem that doesn’t get talked about enough.

Private equity is no longer just using NetSuite to standardize portfolio companies; it’s now investing in the firms that implement it.

By the end of 2025, more than half of the largest 30 U.S. accounting and professional services firms will have sold an ownership stake to private equity.

This is up from Zero (0) in 2020, just 6 years ago.

And the NetSuite partner channel is squarely in the middle of that wave.
Here’s what’s happening on the ground:

🔹 Sikich — a top 30 accounting firm and one of NetSuite’s most decorated North American Solution Providers — secured a $250M minority investment from Bain Capital in May 2024. They’ve since made multiple acquisitions and won NetSuite’s North America Solution Provider of the Year award in 2025.

🔹 Capficiency Private Equity Group is deliberately building a multi-platform ERP/CRM roll-up, starting with their 2018 investment in Appficiency, one of NetSuite’s top Alliance Partners.
Since that investment, Appficiency has grown revenue 6X and its consulting base 10X+, earning NetSuite Partner of the Year – North America along the way. Capficiency has continued adding to the platform with acquisitions in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

🔹 Firms like Riveron, RSM, and Deloitte, which are all major NetSuite implementation players, are now operating inside a broader professional services landscape being fundamentally restructured by PE capital.

Why does this matter?
When PE flows into a partner firm, a few things happen fast:
✅ Aggressive hiring to support acquisition-fueled growth
✅ Leadership changes as new sponsors reshape strategy
✅ M&A integration demands that require specialized ERP talent, quickly
✅ Increased pressure on utilization, delivery capacity, and billable headcount
That’s a talent market in motion.

For PE and VC firms building out portfolio companies on NetSuite; the firms you’re relying on to implement and support your ERP are themselves going through transformation.

The experienced NetSuite talent inside those firms? They’re watching and in alot of cases are open to select conversations about opportunities.

That’s where we come in.

At DynamicsFocus, we’ve spent 25+ years embedded in the NetSuite ecosystem and we know this talent base intimitately.

We know which firms are growing, which are consolidating, and where the best people are likely to land next.

If you’re a PE-backed company scaling on NetSuite, or a partner firm navigating growth, let’s talk about what your talent picture looks like in 2026 and beyond.
