DOUG KENNEDY JOINS NETSUITE

Bob Scott reporting in his weekly Insights column.

NetSuite has not announced it. But according to his LinkedIn page, Doug Kennedy, who was a key player in the Dynamics channel, has become VP of global systems integrators for the company. The page shows Kennedy joined in May and a search of the NetSuite press site reveals what my memory tells meā€”there’s been no official announcement. This is quite a catch after Fred Studer, general manager for Microsoft Dynamics, joined NetSuite a few months ago as its chief marketing officer. Kennedy was VP of Dynamics partners sales and programs from March 2008 through April 2015 and he was the person behind the Microsoft MasterVAR program, whose goals seemed to change after he was no longer in charge. Like many execs hired by NetSuite, he has Oracle experience. Kennedy joined Oracle in July 1998 (at least, that’s as far back as his LinkedIn resume reports) and was in his last post SVP of worldwide alliances and channels from June 2005 through March 2008.
