360 Visibility Launches 360 Cloud for Dynamics

Canadian Microsoft partner 360 Visibility has released 360 Cloud, a dedicated cloud service using Microsoft Azure that will focus on hosting Microsoft Dynamics and Office in the cloud.

As the company describes, 360 Cloud offers:

  • The means for users to address data residency considerations in Canada.
  • A robust, flexible platform that lets users quickly build, deploy and manage their Dynamics software (such as GP, NAV and CRM).
  • The cost-effectiveness that comes with a scalable cloud data center in which users only pay for the services they need and use.
  • The ability to react quickly and appropriately to changing infrastructure conditions.
  • The ability to work productively from anywhere in the world.

This release comes on the heels of Microsoft decision to invest in locally-delivered cloud services across two new Azure regions in Ontario and Quebec, according to company officials. New facilities in Quebec City and Toronto will deliver commercial cloud services beginning in early 2016. Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online will be unveiled later that year.

Nodus Technologies, Professional Advantage Offer Integrated Dynamics GP Collections Management Solution

Nodus Technologies Inc.‘s PayLink is combining with Collections Management for Microsoft Dynamics GP by Professional Advantage to enable GP users to send automated emails before, on, or after invoice due dates, and enabling customers to view electronic statements and make one easy payment.

Collections Management + PayLink will operate as an all-encompassing collections solution to centralize accounts receivable for Dynamics GP users, and give their customers the convenience of fast and easy payment processing, a Professional Advantage company official said.

The integration of Collections Management and PayLink lets a users view customers’ current aging, and select which invoices they would like to request the customers pay. The system will then generate a one-click payment link for customers to make payments on one or several invoices, without having to register or log into a website.

“Thousands of Microsoft Dynamics GP customers already utilize Collections Management, and PayLink is going to dynamically add value,” said Matt Green, Product Manager at Professional Advantage, in a statement. “Being able to deliver an even more powerful solution to help expedite business efficiency and contribute to the bottom line is what we’re all about.”

LS Retail Unveils Cloud-Based Management Solution for Fashion Retailers

LS Retail, an Iceland-based provider of management software solutions for the retail and hospitality industries, has released LS Fashion Express, the company’s first cloud-based management software for fashion retailers.

LS Fashion Express is a cloud-based version of the company’s software LS Nav, built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV. As the company describes, LS Fashion Express includes everything fashion retailers need to run their business, from financials to the point of sale. The system will offer fashion businesses increased speed of execution, as core applications can now be set up in minutes, instead of days or weeks, according to company officials.

“This product is tailored to small and medium-size fashion businesses. We have streamlined the processes fashion retailers perform on a daily basis in order to make retailers more productive and more competitive,” said Dadi Karason, chief technology officer at LS Retail, in a statement.

LS Fashion Express will be on the market at subscription-based pricing. Initially, it will be available for customers in the UK and US. LS Retail plans to release more industry-specific cloud-based versions of LS Nav, officials said.

Flintfox Taps Dynamics Industry Veteran to Lead Global Professional Services

New Zealand-based Flintfox International, a provider of trade revenue management and pricing solutions, has appointed Tom Patterson to the role of chief consulting officer.

Flintfox offers trade management products for Microsoft Dynamics that can be used alone or together to offer customers a complete trade promotion management solution.

Patterson brings with him years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics and a strong background in the management of business operations, growth and profitability-all of which will help Flintfox meet the expectations of its multinational clients during multi-site implementations of their revenue management solutions, according to company officials.

Before joining Flintfox, Patterson served as president of Celenia Software and managed partner relations with the Microsoft leadership team as vice president at MBS Dev\United Stationers.
