LS Retail Releases New Version of LS Nav

LS Retail, a provider of management software for retail and hospitality, has released the latest version of LS Nav, based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016.

LS Nav is a complete management system with specific functionalities for retail and hospitality. With LS Nav, store and restaurant managers can oversee and control their entire business centrally from back office, according to company officials.

“The improvements made to NAV 2016 better enable us to build easy, automatic upgrades, so that we can keep retailers and restaurateurs always up-to-date and on the latest version,” said Gudrun Olafsdottir, development director for LS Nav at LS Retail, in a statement. “In the future, updating LS Nav will be as easy and quick as updating as an app on your smartphone. With our latest version of LS Nav we are taking big steps towards this goal.”

LS Retail will introduce the new version of LS Nav at Microsoft Convergence 2015 EMEA in Barcelona, Spain on November 30 to December 2, 2015.

Dynamics CRM Event Management Made Easy

CRM Innovation LLC has released version 2.0 of Event2CRM, which integrates Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Eventbrite.com’s event registration and ticketing system.

Event2CRM extends Dynamics CRM 2015, CRM 2013 or CRM 2011 with Eventbrite.com, a provider of online event management and ticketing services, officials said. The Event2CRM hosted application lets event managers plan, promote and track all the key components of their Eventbrite events within Dynamics CRM.

Event planners can now use Dynamics CRM to effectively manage their event registrations inside of the CRM system using the event module, according to officials. The events can be free or fee based. Event fees are securely captured via credit card, Google Checkout or PayPal and automatically credited to the company’s account. Ticket sales and revenue are automatically reported in CRM.

Event2CRM is a hosted cloud application and therefore requires no code to be placed on the CRM server, and as a consequence it works with all current implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Online, on-premise, or partner hosted, company officials said.

TVision to Implement Dynamics NAV at Mangrove

UK-based TVision Technology has been contracted to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV for London-based spirits merchant, Mangrove and its sister company, Barwell and Jones.

TVision, a Microsoft Gold Partner, will be using the Wine System, its configuration of Dynamics NAV specifically tailored to the requirements of wine and drinks distributors, according to company officials.

“We had reached a point in our growth where using the shared group system was no longer working for us,” said Nick Gillett, managing director, Mangrove UK, in a statement. “We decided to implement our own systems, key to that was selecting the best ERP solution.”

After initial review of available solutions and personal recommendation, Microsoft Dynamics NAV quickly moved to the top of the list. Further research on NAV for the industry confirmed that this was the underlying platform for TVision’s award winning Wine System, officials said.

The project is now underway and initial analysis and scoping have been completed. The implementation is due to go live in May 2016, officials said.

The move now enables Blue Horseshoe to offer “true” end-to-end solutions to its clients in the Microsoft Dynamics AX space. Blue Horseshoe is now positioned to offer software solutions that manage and track products from production through to Retail Point of Sale officials of the companies said.

The arrival of RRE, a retail-centric scalable solution based on Dynamics AX, opens up new avenues for Blue Horseshoe, officials said.

“Our experience with distribution, CPG and transportation companies has proven that the ‘omni-channel’ requirements of many companies now require a versatile retail solution,” said Mike Castelluccio, marketing manager of Blue Horseshoe, in a statement. “With experience implementing other solutions, Blue Horseshoe knows the value of choosing a robust, functional and configurable solution that can be molded to the business requirements . . . and Retail Realm Essentials is exactly that solution.”
