Avankia Rolls Out a Bundled Offering for Dynamics CRM Online and QuickBooks Integration
Avankia and DBSync have launched a new bundled offering for new customers of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Intuit’s QuickBooks Desktop or Online.
That means Avankia’s Dynamics CRM Online customers are eligible to receive free DBSync QuickBooks integration, officials of the companies said.
DBSync offers an easy-to-use application to synchronize accounts, contacts, products and opportunities. It supports QuickBooks desktop customer, jobs, products and invoice, estimates, track cash to close and accounts receivable analytics so companies can manage their customer data more effectively, officials said.
Elmo Solutions CAD-ERP Tool Integrates with Dynamics NAV 2016
Elmo Solutions‘ Agni Link CAD-ERP data integration solution is now available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016.
Agni Link is a companion to SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor that provides real-time, bidirectional data integration with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV and Dynamics GP, company officials said.
The application integrates PDM and ERP data, automatically resolving discrepancies, and allowing editing of CAD and PDM data using possible values obtained “live” from the ERP application, thus ensuring perfect synchronization of both data sets and completely eliminating redundant data entry as well as eliminating costly errors, according to officials.
Agni Link features include:

Blue Horseshoe Launches AXLE for Dynamics AX
Blue Horseshoe has launched AXLE – Logistics Execution for Dynamics AX – which will soon be live at AAA Cooper Transportation.
The launch of AXLE is a “major step: in completing the Global Logistics Platform powered on Microsoft Dynamics AX,” according to company officials. AXLE extends the enterprise capabilities of Dynamics AX to logistics service providers allowing them to more efficiently manage their transportation activities for asset-based (carriers, private fleets) and non-asset (brokerage, freight forwarder or managed service operators) providers, according to a company statement.
“Regardless of the number of operating units or assets you deal with, AXLE provides an enterprise solution for the logistics and transportation service provider community that allows you to execute efficiently and optimize your logistics network across all entities,” said John Foster, Executive Vice President of R&D at Blue Horseshoe.
AAA Cooper will initially begin deploying AXLE to collect important trip information, minimizing driver time and back office data entry for processing, official said. AXLE will also give the company improved visibility to manage resource utilization and asset performance.
Levtech Consulting Deploys Dynamics AX at KOSTCO
Levtech Consulting, a Microsoft partner in Dubai, has announced that it is deploying of Microsoft Dynamics AX at Kaddas Oilfield Services and Trading LLC in Abu Dhabi.
KOSTCO is a supplier of bulk piping and flow line materials, valves, fasteners, hoses and accessories for the oil, gas, petrochemical, power generation & water and general engineering industry.
The company decided to deploy Dynamics AX because it wanted to more efficiently manage its sales pipeline, inventory levels and service delivery quality, according to Levtech Consulting officials.
Levtech Consulting will also map KOSTCO’s business processes into a detailed set of workflows to help the firm in its quest to promote a KPI-driven, paperless environment. Dynamics AX will also give KOSTCO comprehensive management information and reporting through in-built business intelligence and dashboard capabilities, officials said.
“Our business has grown over the years, and we are in need of the right tools for better planning, forecasting and financial reporting,” said Prasad Pamadath, IT manager at KOSTCO. “We believe that the functional richness and technological innovation within Microsoft Dynamics AX, will provide us with accurate information, on-demand, which is the need of the hour.”
UXC Eclipse Taps Scott Hamilton as Industry Solutions Architect in North America
UXC Eclipse has named Microsoft Dynamics AX MVP Scott Hamilton as its industry solutions architect for manufacturing in North America.
Hamilton has more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, holding senior analyst roles for Columbus A/S and Avanade. He was also a vice president and founder of Fourth Shift.
Hamilton consults globally on supply chain management (SCM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) issues, and has consulted with several hundred manufacturing and distribution companies, according to company officials. He authored “Maximizing Your ERP System” and 10 books about Microsoft Dynamics AX.
