Xpertdoc Partners with UXC Eclipse to Deliver CCM Solution
Xpertdoc, a customer communication solutions (CCM) provider, has joined forces with UXC Eclipse to deliver its CCM solution and CRM connector products to UXC Eclipse’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers.
As part of the deal, UXC Eclipse customers can use Xpertdoc’s CCM solution to expand their customer engagement, according to officials of the companies. The CCM solution manages customer documents through an entirely electronic process – from template creation, editing, document delivery, final archiving and e-signature, to speed communications with customers, according to officials.
Xpertdoc technology integrates with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM software to bridge data with documents to reduce internal workflow.
“UXC Eclipse partnered with Xpertdoc because we believe that when it comes to customer engagement tools, they are the market leaders,” said Richard Howard, UXC Eclipse’s Executive VP of CRM Professional Services, in a statement. “By combining our CRM expertise with this new offering, we will have an invaluable solution to add more value to our customers.”
Socius Hires ERP Expert to Boost Dynamics NAV Service Capabilities
Business technology and consulting company Socius has hired Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Agriware expert Todd Waterman as a solutions architect.
The company plans to align its growing NAV practice with Agriware, a horticulture solution that fully integrates with Dynamics NAV, according to company officials.
Agriware helps with the complete cycle of a growers’ business: time, space, labor and materials. The scalable and customized solution offers users a complete view of the customer, enabling customers to be successful, officials said.
Before coming to Socius, Waterman served as chief administration officer at EuroAmerican, a horticultural goods company. Waterman has more than 15 years of experience as a subject matter expert in technology and business software consulting, and has an extensive background in horticultural and agricultural fields and the technologies and solutions specific to the industry, company officials said.
In his new role at Socius, Waterman will develop custom demonstrations for clients of various Socius solutions, including Agriware and Power BI. He will also be involved with the implementation of those software solutions.
Sikich Earns Dynamics NAV CfMD Status
Professional services firm Sikich LLP has met Microsoft’s highest standard for partner-developed software solutions.
Solutions that are Certified for Microsoft Dynamics have demonstrated development quality and compatibility with the Microsoft Dynamics product on which it runs by passing rigorous VeriTest software solution testing for Microsoft Dynamics and are profiled in the Microsoft Partner Solution Profiler tool, according to officials.
By successfully meeting all certification requirements, Sikich NAVigators can now carry the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics logo. Sikich NAVigators is a solution bundle to help Dynamics NAV users get the most of their systems, according to company officials.

Vertex Announces Sales and Use Tax Connector for the New Dynamics AX
Vertex Inc., a provider of corporate tax solutions, has introduced its sales and use tax connector for the new Dynamics AX, code name AX7. The connector enables the automation of sales and use tax calculations and returns in Dynamics AX. mcaConnect, a global systems integrator, partnered with Vertex to develop this connector.
The Vertex tax technology solution integrates with Dynamics AX, working seamlessly with the system to manage product taxability, maintain transaction detail, and provide address validation for more accurate taxation and shipping processes, according to company officials.
At the end of each month, reports are generated for reconciliation and signature-ready PDF tax returns are generated, with an option for the company to file and remit payment on behalf of their customers, officials said.
“This new integration expands our [ability] to support businesses who are in need of a proven and reliable solution to automate sales and use tax compliance,” said David Henkin, vice president at Vertex, in a statement. “With both cloud and on-premise deployment options, we can deliver hybrid solutions with partners like Microsoft, jointly bringing powerful tax technology to the market.”
