CSC has announced a partnership with eBECS Ltd., the 2016 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for the United Kingdom. As part of the agreement, CSC will invest in eBECS. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Under the deal, eBECS will be CSC’s channel delivery partner for Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions within the UK, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other areas of EMEA and North America, regions where its business operates, according to officials of the two companies.
In addition, eBECS will be licensed as an exclusive delivery partner for UXC Eclipse, CSC’s Microsoft practice, officials said. UXC Eclipse and eBECS are both focused on delivering business management solutions based on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
In 2015, CSC announced that it was acquiring UXC Eclipse for $307 million. With the acquisition, which closed earlier this year, CSC took on a strong client base in North America, but also in ASEAN via UXC’s presence in Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand.
“As a CSC strategic affiliate, eBECS will expand our leading Microsoft practice, giving us the local depth and global reach to service Microsoft centric projects and our clients worldwide,” said Jim Smith, executive vice president and general manager, Global Business Services, CSC, in a statement.
Kevin Hall, eBECS CEO, stated that the partnership with CSC extends his company’s ability to offer its services worldwide as true global systems Integrators.
“Our customers will have the certainty of a long-term business partner with the skills, experience and infrastructure to deliver a new era in customer service to the Microsoft ecosystem,” he said in the statement.
UXC Eclipse is among the top one percent of Microsoft Dynamics Gold Partners. The company has 600 employees across 14 offices in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada and the United States, according to officials.
UXC Eclipse’s service offerings include applications consulting and project management, applications development, corporate performance management, business process management, business analytics and cloud solutions.
