Microsoft’s AppSource Adds Mobile-First Invoice Automation Software Dooap
Dooap, a developer of accounts payable software for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX, has announced that its software application has been published on Microsoft’s AppSource marketplace.
Dooap, mobile-first, cloud-native accounts payable automation solution for Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX, lets users approve invoices as easily on smartphones as on a desktop computers. Dooap’s user interface and built-in process automation enable AP professionals to be more efficient and offers ease of use and mobility for the approvers, according to company officials.
Built from the ground up on Microsoft Azure for Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX, Dooap integrates seamlessly with Dynamics AX. The software offers smart PO matching, support for AP workload management, analytics, mobile approval, and easy communications between the AP department, vendors and business people, officials said.
“With Dooap, we’re offering a solution that increases AP productivity, makes the AP process simpler and ensures the company is also getting the most out of its ERP solution,” said Dooap CEO Antti Kosunen, in a statement. “We believe that finance departments should be able to use their time to manage exceptions and support business rather than pushing paper or trying to make sense of clunky, outdated software.”

As RMI describes, by requiring both the software solution and the partner to meet their highest standards, Microsoft is assuring customers that these certified solutions work with their investments in Microsoft Dynamics.

Socius Launches Integrated Team to Deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition Offering
Socius, a business technology and consulting company, has announced the launch of its offering of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition for the distribution and services industry.
By leveraging the operations, field service, and sales functionalities, the Socius Dynamics 365 team is delivering a complete service distributor solution focused on companies that make, distribute and service equipment in the field, officials said.

NNIT Acquires SCALES Group and Changes Outlook for 2017
NNIT A/S, a provider of IT services and consultancy has acquired SCALES Group Holding ApS and its majority owned affiliates.
SCALES Group is a Danish-based consultancy that focuses on delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM solutions (“Dynamics AX”). In 2016, SCALES Group generated revenue of DKK 116 million ($17.3 million) and currently has 113 employees in Denmark and Norway, company officials said.
With the acquisition, NNIT will supply a full-stack offering for Dynamics AX, spanning advisory, implementation and operations, including application and infrastructure, officials said.
NNIT entered into an agreement with the shareholders of SCALES Group to acquire 100% of the shares of SCALES Group for an upfront payment of DKK 122 million ($18.2 million) and an earnout payment of DKK 52 million ($7.8 million) at target and depending on performance, according to officials.
“I am excited to announce the acquisition of SCALES, and I very much look forward to welcoming them to the NNIT Group,” said Per Kogut, CEO of NNIT, in a statement. “SCALES and NNIT combined now cater for the entire ERP value chain, from outsourcing through application management, operation and further development of our clients’ ERP solution, Dynamics AX.”
