BDO selects Unit4 PSA Suite with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to support digital transformation

Unit4, a provider of enterprise systems for professional services organizations, has announced that BDO Netherlands has selected Unit4 Professional Services Automation (PSA) Suite with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to meet the demands of its growing business.

BDO Netherlands, a unit of BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm, will replace an in-house customized solution with Unit4’s cloud PSA Suite. BDO will benefit from the ability to quickly and easily deploy and scale the solution, according to officials of the companies.

“With the implementation of Unit4 PSA Suite, BDO is taking the next step in applying digital techniques to digitize and support business processes,” said Martijn van der Hoeden, Unit4, global head, PSO Center of Excellence, in a statement. “It is important to us to be more than just a software supplier. Adoption has a major influence on success. That’s why we take the time to make sure the implementation runs as smoothly as possible. We believe that together with Microsoft we offer a solution that is ideally suited to BDO and with which they are set-up for the future.”

Prodware Group: Strategic Signatures in Belgium and Luxembourg

Prodware Group has announced that it has signed six major customers in Belgium and Luxembourg that speak to its expertise in the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 online platform and in companies’ digital transformation.

The company was chosen by six companies in four sectors: finance, manufacturing, institutions, and services for professionals.

In finance, a Belgian insurance brokerage firm Alliance Bokiau chose Prodware to migrate its IT system to Dynamics 365, as did a large global insurance group, according to company officials. In manufacturing, Normacorc, a manufacturer of wine corks, selected Prodware to adopt Dynamics 365 online.

In the realm of institutions, UNESCO, which offers international aid service in education, science, culture and information, and Santhea, a francophone Belgian organization that advocates for and promotes care-providing establishments, both chose Prodware.

Tiama and Normacorc also plan to migrate the old IT systems of their North American entities to Dynamics 365 online

Northern Powerhouse Investment Funding

Microsoft Dynamics reseller Azzure IT has received £2 million ($2.7 million) in funding from part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund to enable the company to continue its rapid growth. This investment marks the single largest investment since the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund was launched in February.

UK-based Azzure IT helps organizations throughout the United Kingdom, from small to midsize companies to larger not-for-profit enterprises, transform productivity and enhance growth by implementing Microsoft Dynamics solutions, according to company officials.

The funding will allow Azzure to strengthen its management team, recruit additional implementation consultants, and expand sales and marketing operations. Overall, this will create around 12 new jobs this year, officials said.
