More than half of all Dynamics and NetSuite roles get posted on a Thursday or a Friday.
Thursday alone carries 31% of everything we track.
If you’re the one publishing the requisition, that drops you into the busiest day of the week, competing with roughly a third of the month’s postings for the same attention.
Earlier in the week is quieter, and your posting stays near the top of a candidate’s search results considerably longer. May not be a bad idea…
Microsoft Dynamics & NetSuite Partners were 45% of everything posted in August, up from 38% in July. That share rose while total volume fell. The firms that implement this software kept hiring through a slow stretch. The companies that buy it slowed down. What does that mean? Who knows.
Volume came down to 267 roles from July’s 368, though two of August’s weekdays returned nothing at all from our collection, and one of them was a Thursday. Adjusted for what was actually collectible, the real move is closer to 19% down per comparable hiring day, so it’s not as big of a downturn as it may seem.
I’ve attached our next edition, which many of you should receive in your inboxes over the next couple of days.
If something of yours has been open for more than 60 days, what’s the first thing you check and fix with your recruiting approach?
