Wilkinson Healthcare deploys Dynamics NAV

UK-based medical appliance wholesaler Wilkinson Healthcare has selected Microsoft Dynamics NAV from The NAV People to support its central business functions and provide a flexible and scalable platform to support the company’s growth.

Dynamics NAV has helped the company eliminate the need for manual entry of approximately 650 orders daily and radically improve the level of visibility across the company, delivering real-time data on number of orders, stock levels and invoicing, according to company officials.

Additionally, the increased functionality provided by Dynamics NAV has enabled Wilkinson Healthcare to launch a new ecommerce site. The recently launched web shop offers people affected by incontinence or who have a stoma a direct and discreet facility to service their needs.

‘The key objective for Wilkinson Healthcare was a solution that had the flexibility to scale with their growth plans,” said Ian Humphries, managing and product director at The NAV People, In a statement. “By deploying Microsoft Dynamics with the nHancement workflow module created by The NAV People, the company has the functionality and flexibility to create dashboards and make changes, without the services of a developer.”

Experlogix delivers CPQ in the cloud for Dynamics 365

Experlogix Inc., a provider of configure, price, quote (CPQ) solutions for Microsoft Dynamics has announced that it supports Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Experlogix CPQ 365 delivers an intelligent experience for Dynamics 365 for Sales and Dynamics 365 for Operations users. Sales reps access CPQ 365 from mobile devices, portals or within the Dynamics 365 for Sales App to build quotes faster, guarantee accuracy, and improve profit margins, according to company officials.

CPQ 365 also helps Dynamics 365 for Operations users streamline manufacturing processes by creating on-demand configured production orders, multi-level bills of materials and routings, officials stated.

For administrators and modelers, CPQ 365 provides an omnichannel platform that enables a single instance of Experlogix to be maintained across all Dynamics applications. The Experlogix modeling tools do not require programming or scripting, so business users can easily create and maintain complex product catalogs, pricing and compatibility logic, company officials stated.

Combined with Dynamics 365, Experlogix automates processes that would otherwise require significant amounts of manual sales or engineering intervention, officials stated.

Kruitbosch, a major wholesaler of bicycles and bicycle accessories in the Netherlands, has announced it is launching the Warehouse Voice Enablement solution developed by Blue Horseshoe.

Kruitbosch is currently implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and utilizing the warehouse module that was architected by Blue Horseshoe and is now part of the base Dynamics solution, according to company officials.
